Rodent Control in Catalina Foothills, AZ

Catalina Foothills is one of the most scenic communities in the Tucson area, with homes climbing the lower slopes of the Santa Catalina Mountains and views stretching across the desert basin. Residents here trade density for proximity to open desert and canyon country, including areas near Sabino Canyon and other natural preserves. That beauty comes with a trade-off: the foothills environment supports one of the most active rodent populations in the region. Pack rats are especially abundant in canyon-edge habitat, and roof rats and mice routinely follow utility lines and tree branches straight into upscale homes.

Homes in the Catalina Foothills tend to be larger, with more roofline, attic space, and attached structures to defend, and many feature lush, irrigated landscaping that provides water and cover rodents would otherwise lack in the desert. Fruit trees, dense ornamental shrubs, outdoor kitchens, pool equipment, and pool heater wiring are all common targets. Pack rats nesting in attic spaces, air conditioning units, and vehicle engine bays cause some of the most expensive damage we see, chewing through wiring and contaminating insulation with urine and droppings.

Foothills homeowners deserve rodent control that matches the quality of the property. Our technicians bring local foothills experience to every job: we inspect rooflines, attics, and mechanical spaces; identify entry points along vents, eaves, and utility penetrations; remove the active population through trapping; and perform exclusion work that keeps rodents out for the long term. We'll also advise on landscaping adjustments that reduce rodent harborage without sacrificing the desert aesthetic that makes this area special. If you've heard scratching overhead, found droppings, or discovered a nest in an AC unit or vehicle, we're ready to help protect your home.
